October 2026

Changelog (v10 → v11, 20 Oct 2026)

  • New: Direction 5, Thiel's Nashville lectures (28 Sept – 19 Oct 2026). It is placed after Direction 4. It contains:
    • the format, hosts and venue (The Pamphleteer and Meriwether Academy, the Grand Lodge of Tennessee, Peter Robinson's Q&A);
    • what he said, lecture by lecture, with each quote checked against fetched text or labelled [R] or [U];
    • a comparison table with San Francisco (2025), Paris (26 Jan 2026), Rome (15–18 Mar 2026), Aspen and First Things;
    • a table setting the theology against Direction 1's material interests (Palantir, Anduril, Founders Fund, AI deregulation), with the limits of each overlap;
    • reactions (opinion only), "What this doesn't show", gaps, and murky items 64–68 in section 3;
    • Appendix E, the verification log.
  • Sources: the Nashville Scene (lectures 1–2), Politico's recordings via Fortune, Gizmodo and Times of India (Politico itself blocked), an attending Epoch Times reporter's X posts (lectures 2–4, read through the X API), organiser pages, and an SEC 13F filing. No WaPo, NYT, Reuters or Free Press article on Nashville was found.
  • Labels in Direction 5 and murky items 64–68 = 52 [V] / 1 [V-s] / 26 [R] / 16 [U].
  • New facts:
    • Paris was a single talk on 26 Jan 2026 at the Académie des sciences morales et politiques; Rome ran Sunday 15 to Wednesday 18 Mar 2026.
    • Thiel Macro's 13F (30 June 2026): $418.7M in eight stocks, seven of them energy names, including Argentina's Vista Energy.
    • A US$12m Buenos Aires house and a Casa Rosada meeting (2026).
  • Correction: murky item 13 said the Nashville sponsor ties back to Thiel's "Dialog" network. The Scene ties Dialog to Nashville through Vanderbilt's chancellor, not the sponsor. Item 13 is corrected.
  • Scheduled updates: the 20 Oct update is done; the 26 Oct runoff update is still pending.
