Commission
A note from the consortium
Engagement terms
Terms version 2026-10-22. Read these before the form. Sending the form is acceptance.
- Editorial independence. The client does not control findings. The consortium decides what the evidence supports, including a finding the client did not expect.
- Evidence labels.Claims in the note use the same labels as the public editions: [V] checked against a fetched source, [V-s] confirmed from search extracts, [R] established reporting not re-checked, and [U] unconfirmed or contested.
- No ethnic or religious targeting. The consortium will not take a brief whose aim is to target an ethnic or religious group.
- Right of reply.People named in the note get a right of reply before publication. Write to [email protected].
- Funder disclosure. The note discloses who paid for it.
- Scope.Scope is one question, a document set, or a short note, agreed in writing before work starts.
- Price. That scope is usually $1,900–$2,900. A wider scope is quoted before anyone agrees.
- Timeline.A typical note takes two to four weeks after payment clears. The deadline on this form is a request until the consortium confirms it in writing.
- Upfront payment.Payment is upfront. Work starts after it clears. The fee buys the work, not a conclusion.
